Suido Kiko began working outside of Japan in 1959, when we joined the industrial/drinking water treatment system project of a fertilizer plant in the former East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). Since then, we have installed water treatment facilities and plants in more than 40 countries worldwide.
In 2005 Suido Kiko made a 30% investment in a Chinese engineering company (WFKK:Wuzhou Fujikasui Engineering Co., Ltd.). Through this investment, we are looking to expand our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) businesses in China in earnest, including water/wastewater treatment, sea water desalination, and other environmental fields.
Additionaly in 2006, Suido Kiko established Joint venture engineering company
named "SUIDO KIKO MIDDLE EAST" in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with Saudi
Brothers Commercial Company which is one of the largest privately-held
holding conglomerates in the Middle East- an area known for its scarcity
of water resources . We will propose water solutions through our latest
membrane & water treatment technologies from Seawater desalination
to wastewater re-use system.
We plan on developing these businesses not only in China & Middle East,
but also in other countries, using primarily the Toray Group's IMF (Integrated
Membrane Filtration) technology. As part of the Toray Group, we have access
to all types of membranes for water treatment systems vz. Micro filtration
（ MF ） , Ultra Filtration （ UF ） , Nano filtration（ NF ）, Reverse
Osmosis（ RO ） .
